Dearest friends!

I finally got to see some of my dearest friends last week (we've all been in different cities since it's summer time). We had so much fun together and I miss them all terribly already...

My Maycie! I miss her SO! She's going to Europe for 3 weeks very soon! I am so excited for her!... and even more excited to live with her (and Kelsey/Liz!!!)

p.s. I head to Boston for my counselor job early Sunday morning. The excitement and nervousness is starting to set in. Eek! :)

Sweet Summer Day!

I've only been away from my friends for less than 2 weeks and I already desperately miss everyone. I got to see a handful of them to celebrate Summer's birthday on Wednesday (minus little Miss Maycie, why does she have to live 6 hours away?!).

Shea is awesome and put together a surprise party for Summer. We definitely surprised her... she cried (good tears!) when we all popped out and surprised her after work. It was precious. I just love her so much and am so thankful for all the sunshine she brings to our lives!

Dave Matthews Band Concert - Wahoo!

Last weekend Liz, Maycie and I got to enjoy The Avett Brothers and Dave Matthews Band in the pouring rain. It was an eventful day full of scary weather/driving, yummy cheesecake and relaxation/giggles...

God has blessed me with true friendship. I am so thankful.

Birthdays galore!

I am currently trying my best to resist falling asleep in my room right now, as I have my environmental science lab in an hour... therefore, I will post photos from Kip and Travis' birthdays gatherings, which were both on Saturday, mind you. Happy 21st to Kip and 20th to Travis... I love you both very much. It was also my darling Brittany's birthday on Thursday, so happy 19th birthday to you Brittany-booboo!

p.s. I am SO excited... the average temperature in Boston for the month of June is 67.2 and in July it is 72.7... yesss! Oh, and in Texas the average summer temperature is 96.... ha!

Oh, Manhattan!

My time spent in Manhattan was so much fun. Me and Maycie had a blast running around the city together... I can't even begin to tell you all the fun things we did, so hopefully these photos will do... enjoy!

The cutest thing happened while we were at the Magnolia Bakery... this man proposed to his girlfriend, using cupcakes that spelled out "will you marry me?" Adorable!




The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir... AMAZING.
The worship experience at Brooklyn Tabernacle was intense and moving... it gave me goosebumps and brought me to tears to hear so many passionate voices shouting to the Lord.

Let's just say we thoroughly enjoyed that cheesecake after a long and wonderful day in the city.

Chels got married!

I had the pleasure of going to my friend's (and old resident's) beautiful wedding on Saturday. It was a sweet barnyard style wedding... and oh Chelsea was beautiful!
